We undertake regular field trips to explore native plants and new regions.
This group photo from 2013 was taken on a field trip led by member John Ross. Current strong attendances reflect the ongoing popularity of the "bush bash" (above)
The membership of individuals with knowledge and experience of organising and leading excursions further afield, provided two such opportunities recently. In 2014 geologist Morrie Duggan led the group pictured below on a 4 day trip to the Mt Kaputar National Park, near Narrabri, . It was a wonderful experience with many of us challenged both physically and botanically! Images of some of the beautiful plants in flower follow.
The annual fund raising Sausage Sizzle also provides an opportunity for one-on-one education and awareness-raising.
