Brachychiton and allied genera study group
The Brachychiton and Allied Genera Study Group is one of a number of Study Groups of ANPSA. This study group focuses on Brachychition and related plants including Sterculia, Thomasia, Commersonia, Rulingia and Lasiopetalum. These genera were previous in the family Sterculiaceae but that family has now being subsumed into the large family Malvaceae as the sub-family.
For more information about the Brachychiton and allied genera Study Group, please see the ANPSA site: http://anpsa.org.au/brachychitonSG/index.html
Study Groups focus on researching and learning about specific Australian plants (usually a genus or a related group of genera).
Our plant database has profiles of many such plants for your garden. See here for the plant database.
