Central Coast District Group



Come along to the Australian Plants Society Central Coast Group! Visitors are welcome. We charge $2 admission to defray costs. 

  • Winter meetings - Second Saturday at 2.00pm
  • Non-winter meetings - Second Friday at 7.30pm
Meeting months are currently under review.

Meetings are usually held at Phillip House, 21 Old Mount Penang Road, Kariong.

About Greg Bourke

Greg joined the team at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens in 2011 and has been curator since 2013 overseeing 252 hectares of gardens which include both exotic and native plants.

He is passionate about conservation and plant breeding and has a particular interest in Carnivorous Plants, Stylidiums and the Goodeniaceae family.

Greg has given presentations to our group in the past on Carnivorous Plants and Stylidium species and on this occasion he will be talking about the Goodeniaceae family – mainly Scaevola & Goodenia species.
