Avian Visitors

16 Jan 2018 6:42 PM | WARREN SHEATHER (Administrator)

Of the 90 or so bird species that visit our garden one of the most visible and audible are the White-winged Choughs. In this 3rd week of January a flock of 15 Choughs visited and foraged on one of our mown areas. They are constantly talking amongst themselves so we always hear the Choughs as well as see them when they are visiting.

European Choughs featured in an episode of Doc Martin, the TV programme.
