Lord Howe Island

Lord Howe Island is not to be missed!

However, numbers are limited to 20 each for the pre- and post-conference tours due to a cap on the number of visitors allowed on the island. The tours start and finish at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.

Dates of the pre- and post-conference tours are:

Pre-conference - Monday 6 September - Saturday 11 September

Post-conference - Saturday 18 September - Thursday 23 September 2021.

The tour includes airfares to the island, island transfers, accommodation at Somerset apartments, guided walks, boat tours and lectures.

Prices are still to be determined and will vary depending on your selection of single or twin share and meals provided or not. Firm pricing is expected later in the year. Prices for the post- tour will be slightly higher due to peak season.

Five nights accommodation means you have 4 full days on the island. The group will be split into two with a half day guided walk from island expert, Ian Hutton or a boat tour on each day with the other half of the day free for you to enjoy the island at your leisure.

Ian Hutton will also give 3 one-hour evening lectures at the museum for the pre-tour and two for the post-tour.
