Plectranthus parviflorus Common Name: Cockspur flower Family: Lamiaceae Location: Any moist area – east coast, slopes & plains – Vic, NSW, Qld – Local to the Central Coast Flower Colour: Pale blue to violet-blue Flowers: Through the year – spring, summer & autumn after rain Soil: Fertile, friable soil Drainage: Moist areas Exposure: Shade Cover: Height – 0.1 – 0.7 m x Width – layers Water: Doesn’t like dry periods Danger: Seeds readily. Prune: After the branch flowers, it dies back – prune Attracts: Insects and butterflies This plant is in a 3.5”/9cm square forestry pot.
