Climbers

Climbers are adapted to either growing up or out across the ground using modified stems and leaves such as tendrils, twining stems, thorns and hooks. Climbers can be used as a ground cover or to decorate garden structures. They are increasingly of interest given declining garden space. They provide:

• Colour and texture through flower and foliage
• Privacy and screening
• As a green wall
• Habitat
