This event is part of the Armidale's Council monthly Markets in the Mall. It is run by Armidale APS volunteers on the last Sunday of the month. Selling plants obtained from the Mole Station Native Nursery, chosen for their suitability for the area.
The owner and manager of this Nursery are Armidale APS members.

Held on the last Friday of the month, Februrary to October in the native plant section on the western side of the Arboretum, entrance from Galloway Street.
Tasks include planting, mulching, weed control, watering if needed and any necessary trimming. It is essential to wear appropriate clothings for the work. Details for each month can be obtained from apsarmidale@gmail.com.
All activities are managed by Patrick Laher, the APS Arboretum Coordinator since the late 1990s. He procures new material for planting and liaises with Armidale Council which supplies mulch and removes garden rubbish.

The native gardens section was designed as part of the Bicentennial Arboretum Plan by APS member Maria Hitchcock OAM.
Join Armidale APS for the Uralla Market stall. As a part of the Uralla Council monthly Country Markets held at the Showground, King St. Uralla.
It is run by Armidale APS volunteers. The plants sold are chosen for their suitability for the area, using material obtained from Mole Station Native Nursery. The owner and manager of this Nursery are APS Armidale members.

A tour of a member's garden.
Armidale APS local members are invited to their winter solstice, enjoy a meal and get together at the Rail Hotel and later that afternoon you are members are welcome to attend a talk by Fred Dadzie – 'Restoration of degraded lands with native microorganisms'.
Talk will be held at U3A building 166 Barney St, Armidale University NSW 2350 and kicks off a 2pm
