About us

Enjoy Australian native plants with the friendly Nowra Group of the Australian Plants Society!

Serving the Shoalhaven area, the Nowra Group began in November 1980, with the first meeting held in 1981. We are an active and enthusiastic group of over 50 members.

What we do

Our group enjoys garden visits, propagation workshops, plant identification walks with the occasional trip away, and we participate at the Berry Garden Festival as well as at events at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum Complex.

Our meeting schedule is a mix of evening meetings and day time activities:

  • Evening meetings, second Thursdays in March, May, July, September and November.. 7 pm at North Nowra Community Centre, Hood Street Bomaderry
  • Day Activities second Saturdays in  April, June, August, October and December
