Botanical name: Gaudium (prev.Leptospermum) laevigatum Common name: Coast Tea Tree Family: Myrtaceae Type: Tall Shrub Size: Up to 5 metres high but can be pruned. Naturally occurring: East Coast Vic, NSW. Also, SA and Tasmania. Flowers: White Flowering period: Late Winter to Spring. Soil/drainage: Sandy soil preferred and good drainage essential.
