The group is thrilled to kick off the year with an exciting members event at the Museum.
Hear Research Associate Graham McLean speak on plant evolution. Graham's talk will be illustrated through a private viewing of plant fossils held in the Museum's Palaeontology collection, and introduced by Curator, Dr Matt McCurry. The talk will last approximately one hour. Meet in the open area under the Crystal Hall, the public entrance accessed from William St.
All attendees need to show proof of full vaccination, and to wear a mask throughout the visit to the Palaeontology Department. Check in is via a tailored QR code; the procedure for this will be advised closer to the event.
Enjoy lunch afterwards in the Museum Restaurant, No. 1 William on level 4.
APS Northern Beaches members only, with a strict limit of 15.
To reserve your spot RSVP by email to Anne Gray for both the talk and lunch .
