Northern Beaches - Walk: Slippery Dip Trail

  • 17 Sep 2022
  • 10:30 AM
  • off Morgan Road, Belrose
The group's plant identification walk will be followed by lunch.

Anne has a long list of all the beautiful flowers seen on the walk on 9 Sept. The track is a sandy fire trail so there's easy walking underfoot but there are some slopes. Anne will wait on Morgan Road to guide you down to the entrance gate.

If you have not been there before, it can be a little tricky to find the first time. The track is on the north side of Morgan Road but is not labelled. The entrance is on a large bend in Morgan Road opposite a metal grill gate. If approaching from Forest Way the entrance is on the left, approximately 1 km from the traffic lights on Forest Way, after 27 Morgan Road and the Lizard Rock Development banner. If approaching from Wakehurst Parkway and Oxford Falls Road West the entrance will be on the right, on a large bend in the road after Lizard Rock.

Lunch at the Belrose Hotel, 5 Hewes Parade with a table booked for 12 noon.

RSVP as soon as possible for the walk and/or lunch to apsnorthernbeaches@gmail.com
