  • Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden (KWG) 420 Mona Vale Rd St Ives

Be guided by members of the group for a talk then go on a walk in the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden to learn about and see our wonderful native plants as they come into flower.

This program is highly-regarded and free. All welcome. No prior knowledge is required and handouts are provided. Bring your own name tag.

Term 4 - Summer
Mondays as follows:

October 10  Walk Only: West Mueller Track, return 1pm
October 17  Waratahs and other members of Family Proteaceae

October 24  Callistemon, Kunzea and Melaleuca (Family Myrtaceae)

October 31  Leptospermum and Baeckea (Family Myrtaceae)

November  07  Grasses (Family Poaceae)
November  14  Orchids and BBQ and planning W&Ts 2023


Meet at 9.45am at Caley's Pavilion in KWG. Sessions run for about 2 hours, unless a walk-only activity. No bookings necessary.

Walks are easy / medium. Wear a hat, suitable footwear and bring water / snack. Also consider sunscreen and insect repellent.
