Dr Cristian Gabriel Orlando joins the group to discuss the Park's current state.
Dr Orlando is a postdoctoral researcher studying animal behaviour and conservation at the University of Sydney. After studying in Argentina, he moved to Sydney to do a PhD with Professor Clare McArthur, examining the foraging ecology of Swamp Wallabies within northern Sydney.
His current research investigates habitat suitability for koalas to ensure future translocations are successful.
The group will also have its plant table - you can bring cuttings for identification and see cuttings from other members' gardens. Phill Keane (AusPlants) and Dan Clarke, the group's conservation officer, will talk about the plants and include helpful information on propagation and how to care for them in the garden.
Free. Visitors welcome.
