Central Coast - Meeting & talk: Bush tucker and Gardening Responsibly

Samantha Newton from Tonbo Garden Design will show that bush tucker plants are a great way to add interest to a garden and engage kids and non-gardeners. She will talk about her favourite bush tucker plants and the challenges, successes and failures of a bush tucker garden.

Samantha will also talk about Gardening Responsibly, a science-based initiative to identify invasive plants and encourage better choices in ornamental plant selection. The initiative uses a spreadsheet-based assessment process that anyone with good plant knowledge can use.
