Northern Beaches - Walk: West Head

This will be a plant identification walk along the Elvina track, with a visit to Aboriginal engravings.

The track has recently been resurfaced which makes for easy walking. There are an abundance of wild flowers including Persoonia, Banksia, Leptospermum squarrosum and Hemigenia purpurea.

Meet at 10.30 car parking area Elvina track. Find the first track on the right after passing the park entry station and with a right turn onto West Head Road. 

Lunch afterwards at the Shed, Akuna Bay.
