Wendy Grimm's presentation will focus on orchids you may have already seen in flower this year and the species that are yet to flower. She has sought out orchids from Anglesea to Armidale and from Kalgoorlie to Kalbarri, but still finds great delight in each of the local ground orchid species as they come into flower across the year. Wendy has an ongoing interest in the endangered Brittle Midge Orchid and also threatened non-orchid plant species including Grevillea caleyi, Haloragodendron lucasii and Melaleuca deanei. As a member of APS North Shore she helps to organise walks & talks and other activities at Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, St Ives.
All welcome.
