10 am Attendees have a choice of one of three simultaneous walking tours as follows:
1 Wollongong Botanic Gardens, tour by Michael Swire, President - Meet at P1 carpark. Map here.
2 Wollongong University grounds, tour by Anthony Wardle, UOW landscape horticulturist / wildlife photographer. Meet at P5 South, carpark. Map here.
3 Wollongong Botanic Gardens, Annex, Puckey’s Estate Nature Reserve. The Reserve is home to around 130 different types of birds, and several endangered plant communities. Tour led by Tracee Lea, Illawarra APS Vice President and horticulturalist. Meet at Fairy Meadow Surf Club (carpark). Map here.
For safety reasons limited to 20 participants per tour.
