North Shore - Meeting & talk

Join us for an evening of botanical exploration at the Beatrice Taylor Hall, located behind the Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre in Hornsby. All are welcome to attend this event on Friday, October 13th, starting at 7:00 pm for a 7:30 pm kick-off.

Our featured speaker, Karen Wilson, a seasoned expert with 43 years of experience at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, will take us on a journey through the world of rushes, sedges, she-oaks, and smartweeds. With a background in Agricultural Science and a passion for biodiversity, Karen will delve into her extensive studies of these plants, her contributions to global biodiversity information projects, botanical history, and the intriguing world of plant nomenclature.
