This flower identification walk features the Aboriginal Engraving Site on a wide flat fire trail just 400 metres from the road. A further 200 metres in will allow walkers to see a great variety of flowers. Recently Crowea Saligna, Hibbertia monogyna, Philotheca buxifolia, Philotheca salsolifolia and even one Boronia flower were seen! There should be many, many more.
Meet at 10.20, ready to start the walk at 10.30.
Plenty of parking on the right hand side of the road.
Bring your own morning tea/lunch which can be enjoyed at the newly reopened West Head Lookout. There are plenty of seats with one of the best views in Sydney.
