Join Central Coast APS for their September get-together, Paul Madden
will be speaking about Habitat Connectivity and its importance for distribution,
genetic diversity and health of native flora and fauna on the Central Coast.
Paul is currently a Local Landcare Coordinator in Greater Sydney, hosted at the
Community Environment Network (CEN). He has spent the last 10 years
working in conservation through Bush Regeneration and Project work at CEN
specialising in Habitat Connectivity for most of this time.
Due to habitat loss, populations become isolated which prevent plants and
animals from living, breeding and growing. Wildlife corridors serve as safe
travelling pathways between similar habitats which are vital to preserving
viable populations.
