Join APS Central Coast group for their October meeting & talk.

This month they will be hosting guest speaker Annika St-Jean, Graduate Landscape Architect and Co-curator of the Rainforest, Gondwana, and Gundabooka (Aboriginal Plants Trail) Gardens at the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.

Her talk will cover a variety of ways to have a sustainable garden, with a particular focus on common species found in native gardens and the projects she has created using found and foraged materials.

Annika, as a designer, is passionate about creating landscapes and gardens that benefit native plants and animals. Through her research into permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and the science of weeds, along with observations from practical garden maintenance, she has developed broad insights into what makes a functional, beautiful, and educational garden with a strong ecological grounding.

Starting times: This will be a 1:30pm arrival for a 2:00pm start.

Cost: $3.00 for Members and guests (includes lucky door prize & morning tea).

They will also be selling a small quantity of specially selected tubestock ready for planting.
