Join North Shore APS this Friday October 11 for their monthly meet up and guest speakers, Pat Schwartz & Sue Fredrickson.
Speaker 1: Pat Schwartz
Topic: The Hills Hornsby Rural Koala Project
Do you know how to locate a koala? Yes, you may see them curled up in the fork of a tree or wandering along a track, or you may spot more subtle evidence of their presence. Can you tell the difference between the scats of a koala and a mountain brushtail possum?
Join us when we discuss such matters and the habitat requirements of koalas. By learning more, we can locate koalas and their habitats when we are out in the bush and so help protect these valuable habitats and all the biodiversity that is contained within them.
Please bring your recollections (including the where and when) of your “ koala experiences” so that we can have lively and informative discussion on koalas.
Speaker 2: Sue Fredrickson
Topic: Some plant highlights during her recent visit to Alice Springs and surrounds. Time: 7.30 pm arrival for a 8pm start.
Plants for sale, library & supper.
