Northern Beaches visit to Museum of Sydney

Join Northern Beaches APS on Wednesday, 19 February at 10:30 AM for an enriching visit to the Museum of Sydney, where history, science, and art converge.

Experience the stunning "Beauty, Rich and Rare" exhibition—an immersive 180-degree visual journey showcasing Australia’s extraordinary flora and fauna as documented by Joseph Banks and his team aboard the HMB Endeavour in 1770. This breathtaking 20-minute experience brings to life the botanical and zoological wonders first recorded by European explorers.

On the same level, don’t miss "Eora", a powerful digital film that tells the story of Sydney’s First Nations People, offering a moving perspective on life before and after colonisation.

After these compelling presentations, take your time exploring the rest of the museum at your own pace. We will gather in the Museum Café at approximately 12:00 PM for lunch or coffee, providing an opportunity to reflect, discuss, and connect.
