Join Southern Tablelands for a Field Trip to the Corn Trail – Monga National Park
Step back in time with the Southern Tablelands Group as we explore the historic Corn Trail Walking Track in Monga National Park, located off the Kings Highway southeast of Braidwood. This scenic trail follows an old bridle path once used for transporting corn to the coast and winds through diverse landscapes, from towering eucalypt forests to cool temperate rainforests.
Along the way, we’ll encounter a rich array of native flora, including ancient tree ferns, unique mosses, and rare rainforest species. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about the unique ecosystems of this region and appreciate the natural beauty that thrives in these protected environments. Start time and location TBH.
