Join the APS Northern Beaches Group for an evening of botanical exploration at our May meeting.
We will begin with a focus on the Iridaceae plant family, presented by Harry, highlighting the unique features and ecological significance of this diverse group of native plants.
Following this, Chris Smallbone will present Wild Things NSW, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting, protecting, and enhancing urban wildlife and their habitats. Wild Things NSW is particularly active in the Bayside Council area, working with volunteers to create and maintain wildlife-friendly environments. This insightful talk will explore the importance of urban biodiversity and the efforts being made to support native species in developed areas.
