Harbour Georges River -Oatley Park Visit - Recording Sydney Sandstone Flora

Join the Harbour Georges River Group for a guided exploration of the Headland Track in Oatley Park, led by two of our HGR members. Using plant lists prepared by Alan Fairley and Colin Gibson as a reference, we will identify, compare and record plants along the track. If time permits, we will drive to Waterfall Road and start the Lime Kiln Bay circular walk, which passes through woodland with a rich variety of shrubs, some of which are already flowering.

VENUE: Meet at 10:30 am in the carpark immediately after entering Oatley Park, end of Oatley Park Avenue, near Oatley West Public School.

BRING: Sturdy walking shoes, water bottle, hat, your own lunch.

TRANSPORT: Drive to Oatley Park. If you would like to travel by train, please arrange with Liz.
